Helping People Find Their Passion Through Purpose
Hi !! My name is Lynne Roff
It’s a pleasure to introduce myself to you, perhaps you can relate to my story.
It’s been one hell of a journey. I grew up in a small town in the Wairarapa, New Zealand. I lived there for approximately 30 years.
Then left family, friends and home to move up to the north of New Zealand on the Kaipara Harbour.
I am a very proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. I’m 68yrs old a retired, hairdresser by trade, amongst other things. I have had one daughter and three sons, my daughter passed away as an infant and my sons have inherited a gene from their father. I don’t know if you are aware of Polycystic Kidney Disease, it’s certainly not a kind gene.
My youngest son removed himself from Dialysis Treatment in February 2009 and passed away a few days later. And eleven months later my eldest son was found dead in his flat due to renal failure. My middle son is still with us, at the moment. But unfortunately the gene has been passed on to three of my grandchildren thus far, and so it goes on. I’m very fortunate to live in one of New Zealand’s beautiful areas, 30 or so local beaches, great climate generally a really nice place to be. I am a 7-figure earner. I have a passion for helping people to succeed.
I have been involved in a number of bricks and mortar business and online sales and marketing since I was 21 yrs. old, from thirty-six years of Hairdressing, Beauty and Laser Hair Reduction, Cafes, Oyster Farming Processing and Sales, Phone sales, Sales rep for Daily-Deal sites.
Then in January 2013 life turned around, I then had to set about reinventing myself, I just had too. I had a serious car crash, I had been working away from home for six weeks. I knew I was very tired but chose to begin a 12-hour car journey with my 9yr old grandson, consequently I fell asleep while I was driving, as a result I ended up being flown to hospital, I had crushed two vertebra these were the most significant of the injuries. Four years later they still affect my daily life, it’s so different now.
I am very grateful that my Grandson came out unscathed. I have looked after him since he was a toddler, his dad my youngest son was dead and his mum was murdered in February 2015. So now it all fell on my shoulder’s. Prior to this accident I had been working really long hours to pay my mortgage and heaps of other debt that I had been left with, just to keep my head above water, wondering how I was ever going to get off the merry go round, I was making very good income but for the first time ever I was not enjoying what I was doing, I saw no end to it .
